Noah turned 5!!!

Noah couldn't WAIT to turn 5. He's talked about it for about a year. He would insist he was 4 1/2 if anyone dared call him 4 as soon as his half-birthday past. He likes to pretend he's a baby, but keeps insisting on growing up - it's very confusing :)

He chose to go to Coconut Cove for his birthday activity

We also went to the library and he dressed up at their creation station

He blew out candles after we went to a surprise movie - Incredibles 2. My sister made lemon tarts for Thanksgiving and he told me after he ate 5 or 6 of them that he wanted them for his birthday cake. So she was so super nice and made him some. He was sooooo excited

I can't believe my baby is 5!! He's getting so long and thin - losing the baby fat in his face. It's so weird to think about what life was like 3 years ago when Jacob was doing the same things Noah is doing - learning to read, starting to ride a bike, going to kindergarten. It feels like yesterday, and years and years ago. Noah is very, very weird and has a crazy imagination. His medium of choice is Legos and he comes up with very elaborate and interesting stories, characters and weapons. He can turn almost anything into a weapon of some kind. His current obsession is Mechs and wishes for nothing more than to live in a Mech. A huge one, like Pacific Rim style. Our life would be a whole lot more mellow if Noah wasn't here, so we're so glad he's around to add some excitement.
