Halloween!

Halloween this year was so busy. The boys are old enough to do a lot more things and stay up later, so we did so many things. First things first, Gus asked if we could see the Wizard of Oz play - he saw an advertisement at his school, and they've really liked the short plays we saw last year, so I figured they'd enjoy a longer one. They've never seen the movie, just short cartoon versions, like Phineas and Ferb. They really liked it.

We also got school pictures back - no need for retakes here

Now onto Halloween nonsense. We went to Jakers first and they did their first real, big corn maze. Jacob and Bryan went one way and the rest of us went the other. We got out pretty fast - less than ten minutes - and Bryan and Jacob finally came out about 20-25 minutes later.

We carved/painted pumpkins

Then we went to the Wilkersons farm

They had a Superhero Training at the library

Bryan's birthday is a week before Halloween. This year we went to Tucanos. We went last year and the boys kind of ate, so we waited a year so they'd eat enough to make it worth our while. They did a lot better this year - Jacob ended up almost laying on the table he was so full.

We went trick-or-treating at the outlet malls

The ward party

We went to a boy scout Halloween evening. They had archery, games, crafts, ropes course and spooky walk. It's super fun.

And finally trick-or-treating. Phew! We're almost done!!

Every year they last a little bit longer trick-or-treating, and this year they went for a full hour and a half. We get a little breather for November, then hit the Christmas stuff.
