Sandbox

Now that spring is here, we needed to built a sand/dirt box in the backyard to keep the kids out of the garden boxes. Bryan built it yesterday.

You can barely see it, but Bryan has it all staked out with blue twine.
 He had lots of help
 Showing Jacob when it's done
 He was giggling and giggling

The almost finished product. Bryan checked out a book from the library that shows different projects for backyards and it suggests putting up a board on a sandbox where you can connect things like small pieces of wood for ramps, funnels, boxes, and wheels that they can pour sand on. We're going to put that up in a couple of days. We did a dirt/sand mix because sand is such a pain to get off - you can shower for hours and still not get it all off, but sand doesn't clump up as bad as dirt, so we figured a mix would work well.
